Our Wichita Team

Working in close partnership with patients and families, our clinicians provide high-quality care tailored to each individual’s needs. Our multidisciplinary team of geriatric psychiatrists, social workers, nurses, dietitians, and group therapists have experience working with patients from diverse cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds. Our expert staff have chosen geriatrics as their specialty and pride themselves on providing compassionate and efficient care.

Robert Bragg, Hospital Administrator

Robert Bragg has 18 years of executive and operational experience in behavioral health and senior care services. He also serves as the current Executive Director at Reeds Cove Health and Rehabilitation. Robert formerly worked at New Paradigm Solutions where he served as the Operations Consultant, most recently assigned to Spring View Manor as their Administrator. Prior to New Paradigm, Robert was the Vice President of Operations at Behavioral Link for eleven years and their CFO for the preceding six years.

He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Education from Wichita State University; Masters of Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing from Oklahoma City University; and Masters of Marriage and Family Therapy from Friends University.


DeShaun Willingham, Director of Nursing

DeShaun is a native of Wichita, Kansas. She received her Nursing degree from Newman University and Master’s degree from Friends University in Healthcare Leadership. DeShaun has been a nurse for 13 years and has multi-disciplinary experience that she brings with her. DeShaun is Passionate about Nursing as a leader she is passionate about employee engagement and a culture of accountability. She considers herself a servant leader and doesn’t ask you to do anything she would not. In her spare time she likes reading and spending time with family and friends. If she had to describe her leadership in a simple sentence it would be this:

"Leaders become great, not because of their power, but because of their ability to empower others." A quote by John Maxwell.

Dr. Paul Murphy, Medical Director

Dr. Murphy attended the University of Kansas School of Medicine and has been practicing in Wichita since 1987. He formerly served as Medical Director for Via Christi Senior Behavioral Health, Susan B. Allen Memorial Hospital Geriatric Psychiatry Unit, Sumner Regional Medical Center Geriatric Unit, certified by the American Psychiatric Association in Adult, Forensic, Geriatric, and Addiction Psychiatry. He is a member of the American Psychiatric Association, American Medical Association and the Sedgwick County Medical Society.

Dr. Murphy is board certified in Adult Psychiatry, Geriatric Psychiatry and Forensic Psychiatry. He has been a consulting psychiatrist for numerous nursing home facilities throughout the state of Kansas. He also has experience in the assessment and treatment Alzheimer's Disease and various psychiatric illnesses regarding the elderly.

Dr. Murphy is board certified in Forensic Psychiatry since 1999. He provides evaluations for competency, expert legal testimony and record review and evaluation for the legal community throughout the state of Kansas.


Dr. Richard Liepins, Hospitalist and Medical Services

Dr. Liepins is a graduate of College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kansas City, MO.  He completed his Family Medicine residency in 2006 at the Via Christi Family Medicine Residency Program in Wichita, KS.  Dr. Liepins has practiced in both inpatient and outpatient medicine settings since completing his training.

He is a member of several professional organizations including Medical Society of Sedgwick County and American Medical Directors Association.

Prior to getting his degree in medicine, Dr. Liepins served our country for 20 years in the United States Marine Corps.
